Edward P. Schreiber
Edward P. Schreiber

Mr. Schreiber has a consulting practice, EPS Risk and Business Consulting, LLC. In addition, he sits on a board of a $1.3 billion-dollar bank in Dallas, Tx and is an adjunct Professor at the University of Utah’s Eccles Business School.

Mr. Schreiber is the former /retired Chief Risk Officer/Executive Vice President with Zions Bancorporation in Salt Lake City, Utah. Zions is an $80 billion-dollar regional bank located in various western states. During his eight years with Zions, his responsibilities and oversight included, credit risk, compliance risk, loan review, model validation, operational risk, technology risk, cyber risk, and reputational risk. Mr. Schreiber chaired the Reputational Risk Committee, and the Enterprise Risk Management Committee.

Previous Employment: Before Zions, Mr. Schreiber was Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Financial Industry Regulatory Advisory Services.

He also served as Chief Risk Officer and Regulatory Liaison for TD Bank, N.A., and its predecessors, a $180 billion regional bank, for 11 years. During that time frame, he was responsible for enterprise risk management, which included oversight for compliance, credit risk, operational risk, and market risk. In addition, he oversaw the bank’s Community Reinvestment Act activities, the TD Charitable Foundation, government relations, and audit and credit risk review functions.

Schreiber began his banking career with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). During his 19 years of service with the OCC, he served in managerial, analytical, and technical positions. Some of the positions held included National Bank Examiner, Field Manager, Problem Bank Analyst, and Systems Analyst.

Education: Schreiber has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the College of Santa Fe in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He also earned a certificate from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.

Allison Sagraves
Allison Sagraves

Allison Sagraves is a recognized authority on data and analytics strategy and advises start-ups, companies, and leaders on data monetization and strategy.

As an early enterprise chief data officer in the industry, Allison helped define the role and has achieved international recognition, named to the 2022 Top 100 Global Data and Analytics Innovators, 2022 Top 50 Data and Analytics Leaders, and three-time Global Data Power Women. Allison is a founding faculty member of the Carnegie Mellon University Chief Data and Analytics Officer Program, where she is now both a faculty member and advisor.

After serving as the founding Chief Data Officer of M&T Bank, a Top 20 U.S. Bank, Allison formed her own consulting firm and serves a growing portfolio of global clients. Allison is a popular speaker at top conferences, most recently at CES 2023, where she spoke on Banking in the Age of AI. Allison also consults and delivers content and training on data management concepts for organizations such as the American Bankers Association and Datacamp.

Allison is an advisor to DataOps.live, a Snowflake partner whose platform accelerates enterprise adoption and value realization from the Snowflake Data Cloud. She is an advisor to Uplinq Financial Technologies, a purpose-driven company promoting financial inclusion through an innovative data-driven credit assessment platform. In addition, Allison is an advisor to Ultranauts, a data engineering company that uses the Universal Workplace model to embrace diversity and serve as a replicable blueprint for other employers.

Allison graduated from Harvard Business School, for whom she serves on the Board of the Western New York Harvard Business School Club and teaches in the Management Development Program for Rising Leaders.

Allison serves as Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee for the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, and has served on numerous non-profit boards in arts and education. Allison is an honors graduate of Smith College, where she majored in Economics and Government.

Prior to attending Harvard Business School, Allison served on the White House Staff and worked for The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, International Paper, Barclays Bank, and Deloitte. Allison lives in Western New York with her husband, D. Gregory Connors, a former member of The Buffalo News Editorial Board. They have three grown children. Allison is a beekeeper and steward of a forest, and has launched her life and business philosophy under her brand Applied Serendipity℠ and Allison Sagraves, LLC.
